Another settled spring day – The Big Picture on Tuesday

On Tuesday we see a northwesterly airflow increasing over New Zealand from morning, while a front moves onto Southland in the evening, and Otago overnight – meaning a mostly calm and settled weather day for most people – like Monday!

We’re looking at cloudy areas in the west of the country for the most part, with the chance of a light patchy shower or two – otherwise mainly dry.
Out in the east of both islands, it’s shaping up to be mainly sunny, with warm weather dominating.

Rain moves into Southland in the evening – then into Otago overnight – on a southwesterly wind change, while Northland and Auckland will likely see areas of sun in the afternoon, after a cloudy start.
