MetService website records showing that it has not reached 25 degrees on a single day in the last month in Auckland or Hamilton.

Auckland averages ~ 16 hot days a year above 25 degrees and Hamilton ~ 26.

Here in Brisbane, Queensland, it got to all of 23 yesterday but the humidity was unimaginable and walking to walk felt like a sauna. No sun and relentless rain.
