Our last night of mainly anticyclonic weather tonight, a notherly airflow is starting to build a little more over the South Island but overall conditions are still fairly calm. The main place to see any precipitation will be Fiordland with drizzle patches.

Northland
Cloudy periods with east to northeast winds.
Low tonight: 10-11

Auckland
Clear spells and some cloud with light easterly breezes.
Low tonight: 8-9

Bay Of Plenty
Mainly clear with light winds.
Lows tonight: 4-5

Central North Island & Waikato
Mainly clear although fog may develops in some areas again, light winds.
Lows tonight: -1-1

Eastern North Island
Mainly clear with light winds, there could be some cloud about Gisborne later in the night.
Low tonight: 2-4

Western North Island
Mainly clear with light northerlies, some cloud about northern Taranaki.
Low tonight: 4-5

Wellington
Sunny spells and some cloud with northerly winds.
Low tonight: 8-9

Marlborough & Nelson
Mainly clear skies with light winds.
Low tonight: 2-3

Canterbury
Mainly clear tonight with light winds and a few whiffs of high cloud, easterlies near the coast ease this evening. There could be some low cloud about overnight, mainly near the coast.
Low tonight: -1-0

West Coast
Clear with some high cloud, light winds. Drizzle for Fiordland with northeasterlies.
Lows tonight: 3-5

Coastal Otago
Clear with some high cloud, light winds tend northeast near the coast.
Lows tonight: 4-5

Southland & Central Otago
High cloud with north to northwest winds.
Lows tonight: 3-6
