An anticyclone lies in the Tasman Sea pushing a gentle southwesterly airflow over New Zealand tonight, conditions are mainly settled much like last night with areas of cloud about the far south, Gisborne and Northland.

Mainly clear skies, southwesterlies ease this evening. Cloud about Northland gradually clears away this evening.

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island

Clear skies, west to southwest winds ease this evening. Northerlies ease about the Bay Of Plenty.

Eastern North Island

Mainly clear skies with southerly winds easing, cloud about Gisborne clears this evening.

Western North Island

Mainly clear skies, westerlies ease this evening. Light winds overnight.
