You know Summer is just around the corner when you have a day like today.  All 5 main centres are in the 20s today and apart from Wellington they’re all in the mid-20s.

As of 2pm it was 24 degrees in Auckland and Hamilton, 26 in Christchurch and Dunedin and 21 in Wellington.

A cold sou’wester and thick cloud is keeping the lid on temperatures in Invercargill where it’s only 14.
