5:15pm update (final update)
– Only a few very light, isolated, drizzle patches remain over Auckland city.
– A band of light rain and showers moving in between Whangarei and Hibiscus Coast stretching as far west as Hokianga Harbour.
– Band of light rain or showers for Bay of Islands and other eastern parts of Northland this evening.

As of 5:15pm the skies remain gloomy but conditions are drying. There shouldn’t be any more light showers this evening, however some drizzle patches are still possible…hopefully not enough to stop play!
