All North Island centres, with the exception of Waiouru, are in double figures this morning but in many places, the skies are far from settled.

The mainland is a little cooler but no weather station is reporting a reading below 6 degrees and although the weather is drier, sunshine won’t necessarily prevail over much of the island today.
