Easter Sunday’s national forecast

Today looks as if its a rather messy picture when it comes to showers falling across the country.

It seems that Easter Sunday is the wettest day for the country for the long weekend but that doesn’t mean everywhere will see rain or showers.

This morning is shaping up a little showery across western areas and a few falls are moving elsewhere however it’s patcy at this point.

Dry spells are also in the forecast and temperatures again are likely to be a little above normal for the time of year.

Sunshine might not be so prevalent today compared to some regions over the last couple of days as cloud looks set to be fairly thick in a number of areas but again eastern areas might see the most rays in amongst some high cloud.

We’ll have more details coming up a little later this morning.
