hi guys what would the setup need to be if nelson had strong Southerlies?

Hey Jet, you need strong high pressure building from Tasmania and moving into the South Island while a stormy low pressure zone lies east of Wellington, that would do it.

Hey WeatherWatch.
I’m hosting a pre family Christmas on the Norh Shore of Auckland on the 20th..
I have a great outdoor area, but limited into space.
How’s the weather shaping for pnfor next Saturday. I kinda see showers, basically wet.. Any thing positive???
Thx

Hi Joel, does look like some wet weather possible in the morning (although working out timing 5 days out is tricky) so the positive based on today’s forecast is that Saturday PM looks drier than Saturday AM. You may find the weather graphs at RuralWeather more helpful (covers North Shore suburbs too): https://www.ruralweather.co.nz/forecasts/Auckland
A cold front is moving up NZ on Friday and Saturday – so there will be wind and showers moving through a number of NZ places for a time, along with a noticeable temperature drop.
