We are heading up to Monganui northland this weekend, can’t find a weather forecast for this area, is it going to be as rainy as Kaitaia?

I typed in somewhere very close to Monganui (Hihi) and it came up, here:
Personally looking at some modelling I’d say Saturday is looking a bit showery, especially afternoon where showers may even be heavy then easing in the evening. Winds fresh from the southwest. Sunday may have a morning shower otherwise mainly dry with sunny spells, southwesterly breezes.
Hope that helps! 🙂

I just want to know when normally do temperatures start to warm up? Is it on September? Because I don’t want winter to finish! 😁

Possible yes but don’t set your heart on it, it’s only a chance, they may not eventuate but some conditions are there for a risk of t/storms.

Just looking at a couple of weather forecasts and they are all saying snow to invercargill/Southland mid August
Could this be true?

Maybe, but that is two weeks away. We’ll mention it in stories / articles as we get closer to that point in time if it’s looking possible.
This far out often the weather changes in models so nothing is guaranteed.
