It may technically be summer, but the spring is very much still here – in our weather patterns, at least.

A southwest system is pushing a lot of low cloud onto the country from the Tasman Sea, bringing a few scattered light showers to western regions at times on Tuesday.

We’ve also seen some distinctly un-summery temperatures, especially in the morning, as cool air from the south pushes up onto the country.
