VIDEO: Latest on the storm heading to NZ this Monday

The weather is becoming more settled over New Zealand for 48 hours as high pressure rolls though, ahead of a stormy start to next week.

By Monday a storm near Southland will bring severe weather into both main islands, mostly from the west.

This will be along with severe gales for central, inland and eastern areas.

The north of NZ looks least impacted – but may still get a burst of wind and rain next week. We track the weather around New Zealand through until Wednesday next week.
