VIDEO: Cold fronts coming, but so too is another big high

Cold fronts will move up NZ over Thursday and Friday bringing a cooler weekend with South Island frosts through the interior and high country and a dusting of snow on the ranges. But it’s all ahead of the next enormous high pressure zone which will cross the South Island next week. This placement of the high encourages sou’easters into the North Island next week which will spread over to eastern Australia bringing showers. There’s also a cyclone risk brewing in Western Australia.

We have your NZ forecast (and some Aussie weather too) through to Tuesday next week.
