The land of the long white cloud is today long and white from above and grey and dull from below, for most places anyway.

As cloud smothers New Zealand and a band of rain slowly spreads into the western coastline of both islands some of you have been out with the cameras, showing how even a cloudy, gloomy, day can actually be quite striking to look at.
