Mostly sunny with west to southwesterly winds.

Mostly sunny weather with some cloud later in the evening or overnight, west to northwesterly winds.

Eastern North Island
Sunny with light winds, morning southerlies die away about Gisborne. Afternoon east to northeasterly winds about coastal Hawkes Bay and Gisborne.

Wellington
Sunny spells and increasing cloud, chance of a shower from evening. Northerly winds gradually increase.

Marlborough & Nelson
Mainly sunny with northwesterly breezes, chance spot of rain in the evening.

Sunny areas and increasing high cloud, an early afternoon southerly change brings a few showers which clear in the evening.
