VIDEO: Your Weekend Weather across New Zealand

A huge high covers the country for Thursday but it slides east on Friday – and slides even further east at the weekend. As it does so it allows a cold front to move up the country bringing some wet weather, which falls apart on Sunday PM/Monday AM as it moves into the upper North Island.

It’s followed by more high pressure – although a weak cold front looks to brush the lower South Island on Monday/Tuesday.

Short and sharp today as we cover the weekend outlook – don’t forget our 7 Day NZ RainWatch video will be out on Friday and also later this afternoon our Australia-only 7 Day Forecast is also published.
