Tuesday Newsfeed: Windy & warmer in the south, calmer in the north

We have no videos today, sorry, due to tech issues – back Wednesday with our NZ update & Pacific Islands update. In the meantime, check out our special 10 day NZ video below!

FORECAST:
High pressure is smack bang over the top of NZ but as it drifts eastwards this week it will usher in windier nor’westers for the South Island and eastern North Island.

This week ends warmer than it started for most regions with sub-tropical and/or nor’west winds.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be hotter for many places but Thursday will see a cold front again swipe southern parts of NZ with daytime maximums dropping over 10 degrees for some. Friday may be hotter still for northern NZ.
