High pressure continues to hold firm over the nation bringing light winds or sea breezes and mostly sunny, dry, weather today. There are a few cloudy areas and showers lurking – but generally speaking today is another settled day across New Zealand.
 
Auckland Northland Waikato BOP
Light winds and sea breezes with daytime cloud build-ups producing a few isolated showers popping up, mainly in Northland otherwise dry and mild.
Highs: 23 to 27
Lows: 14 to 17

Western North Island (also Central Plateau)
Mostly Sunny, a few cloudy areas possible. Light winds or sea breezes.
Highs: 23 to 26
Low: 14 to 16

Eastern North Island

A bit cloudy for some areas, with early drizzle possible. A mainly dry day though, however afternoon cloud build-ups may produce a downpour around Gisborne/East Cape area later in the day and maybe on the Rimutaka or Tararua ranges. Light winds/sea breezes.
High:  22 to 24
Low: 12 to 14

Wellington
Another stunning day – Sunny with light winds drifting from the east. Cloud build-ups possible around the Rimutakas.
High: 22
Low: 15

Nelson & Marlborough
Sunny with light winds/sea breezes.
High: 23 to 25
Low: 11 to 14


West Coast
Mostly Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 22 to 25
Low: 10


Canterbury
Mainly Sunny with light winds. Some cloudy areas possible.
High: 22 to 25
Low: 11 or 12

Southland and Otago
Cloudy areas, might be a shower. Light winds from the west developing.
Highs:  19 to 24
Lows: 10 or 11
