Thursday Newsfeed: More northern heat & humidity + heavy West Coast rain setting in

High pressure continues to be the dominant force again today however rain is setting into the West Coast as the high departs further to the east and that encourages more hot and humid airflows, cloudy areas and some daytime downpours.

For those over the hot and humid weather a cooler change with rain and showers looks to spread over NZ around Sunday and Monday bringing a slightly cooler week for many next week.

Until then, windier nor’westers and humid north to nor’east winds will dominate NZ next few more days ahead.
