Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny spells with light winds in the morning, afternoon sea breezes. Auckland southwards sees the low risk of a late afternoon / evening isolated shower.
Highs: 20-22
 
Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny with light southeasterlies tending westerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 19-21
 
Eastern North Island
A few morning showers clear then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon as southerlies tend easterly. Cloud may take till evening to clear about Gisborne.
Highs: 18-19
 
Wellington
Mainly sunny with northerly winds.
High: 18
 
Marlborough & Nelson
Any early cloud clears otherwise expect a sunny day with northerly winds.
Highs: 19-23
 
Canterbury
Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, east to northasterly winds. Later in the evening a southwest change moves into South Canterbury bringing a few showers.
Highs: 21-23
 
West Coast
Areas of cloud and some sun, showers move into South Westland during the afternoon although not spreading much further northwards. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-20
 
Southland & Otago
Sunny areas and some high cloud, a southwesterly change mid to late afternoon brings a few showers which clear later in the evening.
Highs: 17-23
