Western Australia's Pilbara about to get hit by second tropical cyclone

WeatherWatch.co.nz says another tropical cyclone is expected in Western Australia and remarkably it may make landfall in the same place Cyclone Veronica recently did, around Karratha and Port Headland in the Pilbara region.

Numerous reliable long range computer models are picking the storm to form in the days to come, then hug Aussie's western coastline until early next week when it likely makes landfall sometime between Monday and Wednesday (precise timing yet to be locked in).

WeatherWatch.co.nz says based on latest modelling the storm may well become a severe Category 3 storm, or stronger.

The area most likely to be impacted is home to around 30,000 people.
