VIDEO: NEW! ClimateWatch: December + Summer 20/21

December kicks off with a strong spring-like pattern, meaning a La Nina weather pattern in NZ won’t be felt until perhaps the middle of the month.

The forecast for the first half of December is mostly dry in the north, windy in the south and wet on the West Coast.

But by mid December we may see more high pressure in the south and a return to the La Nina pattern coming in over December and January.

We also have the latest on La Nina and how long it will last.
