Video: Funnel cloud over Manukau, Weds Feb 15th 2012

Up close with a funnel cloud - trying to spin and create a tornado but didn't quite get there. Can see the clouds very quickly spiralling around in some of the close ups. Was taken yesterday, Feb 15 2012, over Manukau - more evidence that there were a number of potential tornadoes across Auckland city yesterday. Thanks to Evan More for the video.

My daughter said thanks for the video. She got some photos of it on the way home from school but they didn't come out that well. She has been talking about this since yesterday afternon. We live in Hill Park in Manurewa and it was very close to our house. Steph

No Touch Down

I have filmed over 5 funnel clouds this week. I was in the albany Tornado last year 200 ft from the my truck.Thanks for your comment Evan (SWARM)
