Northeasterly winds remain over the country tonight, cloudy for most regions with strong winds Auckland northwards. Rain about Northland may be heavy at times, especially in the east.

especially in the east, brisk to strong ENE winds.

Auckland

Strong easterly winds, a risk of winds gusting to gale force at times in exposed areas this evening. Cloudy with occasional showers.

Bay Of Plenty

Cloudy with occasional showers, long dry spells too. Brisk easterly
winds.

Waikato & Central North Island

Cloudy with easterly winds, the odd brief spell of rain about the
Waikato.

Eastern North Island

Morning drizzle clears then a few sunny spells may sneak through from
afternoon, plenty of cloud about still. Breezy northeasterlies.
