A windy westerly change is kicking in across the country with mild weather and heavy downpours from passing fronts.

In the coming days there are a few fronts moving through – but mixed with sunny spells too.

Even dry Canterbury has a chance at a few spits and showers – not a huge amount, but not nothing either.
