Weather Video: March kicks off with a series of lows

Low air pressure dominates the New Zealand area for the first half of March based on reliable computer modelling.

Most of this low air pressure is fairly weak, meaning there’s a lack of energy with our weather patterns over the next week or so, with isolated drizzle and downpours and plenty of cloud.

It still looks warm to hot across parts of the country in the coming days ahead.
