Areas of high pressure about New Zealand today, most regions see settled and sunny weather after any morning cloud breaks away. The West Coast of the South Island could see a shower this morning and the top of the South Island could see an isolated shower late afternoon / evening.

Northland

Sunny areas and some cloud, light winds this morning then afternoon sea breezes.

Highs: 25-26

Auckland

Mostly sunny with light westerlies tending a little more southwest this
afternoon.

High: 25

Bay Of Plenty

Sunny with light winds tending westerly this afternoon.

High: 26

Waikato

Mostly sunny weather with light westerly winds, any early cloud
clears.

High: 26

Central North Island

Mostly sunny after any morning cloud breaks away, light westerlies.

High: 25

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with light winds this morning, afternoon easterlies.

Highs: 24-25

Taranaki

Periods of cloud and a few sunny areas with westerly winds, risk of a
shower later this evening / overnight.

Highs: 22

Western North Island

Sunny areas and increasing cloud with west to northwest winds, chance of a
shower later this evening.

High: 24

Wellington

Sunny areas and increasing cloud from this morning, northerly winds. Chance
of a light shower or drizzle patch later this evening.

Nelson

Mostly sunny with light winds this morning, afternoon northerlies. Late
afternoon / evening isolated showers are possible especially inland.

Mostly sunny with light winds, chance of an isolated shower late afternoon
/ evening.
