Cloudy periods with occasional showers, the odd heavy fall about Whangarei then easing later this evening and possible clearing. Overnight the odd drizzle patch may move in again. Northeasterlies.

Cloudy with patchy showers or drizzle, northeasterly

Waikato & Central North Island

Mostly cloudy skies with northeasterly winds, there may be the odd brief
shower about mainly in the west.

Eastern North Island

Mainly clear skies, northeasterly winds. High cloud thickens about the
Wairarapa with a few spots of rain there overnight.

Western North Island

Cloudy areas with spots of rain south of Wanganui, mainly overnight.
Northerly winds. About Taranaki expect occasional showers then overnight rain,
breezy northeasterlies.
