High pressure brings mainly settled weather today, a chance of low cloud or fog this morning for some regions however.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly sunny with light winds, areas of low cloud or fog possible morning and night for inland areas. There may also be some cloud for eastern Northland during the day.
Highs: 15-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mainly sunny with light easterly winds, Taranaki sees winds tend westerly in the afternoon. There may be some morning cloud inland.
Highs: 12-16

Eastern North Island

Mainly sunny weather with light easterly winds, some evening cloud possible.
High: 14

Wellington

A mostly sunny day, perhaps some afternoon cloud as northerlies tend southerly.
High: 13

Marlborough & Nelson

Mainly sunny, perhaps a touch of high cloud. A chance of evening lower level cloud about Marlborough. Light winds.
Highs: 14-15

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud after morning low cloud or fog breaks away, some cloud may stick around the coast. Easterly winds.
High: 13

West Coast

Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, a chance of morning low cloud also. Light winds tend southwest.
Highs: 14-15

Southland & Otago

A few showers for Southland (near the coast mostly), clearing around midday then some sun breaks through. Morning cloud for Otago then afternoon sunny spells. Easterly winds.
Highs: 10-12
