Anticyclonic conditions on Saturday bring mainly settled conditions, there may be a few unstable areas develop late afternoon / evening.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny spells and increasing cloud, risk of a few showers / downpours from late afternoon mainly about western Waikato. Northland sees more frequent cloud during the day with the odd light shower possible. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather about the Manawatu, looking a bit cloudier for Taranaki although some sun may break through in the afternoon. There may be an isolated downpour late afternoon / evening about inland areas. Light winds mostly tending onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 22-26

Eastern North Island
Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 20-23

Wellington
Mostly sunny after any early cloud clears, light winds.
High: 24

Marlborough & Nelson
Any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, east to northeasterly winds for Marlborough and afternoon northerlies in Nelson.
Highs: 23-25

Canterbury
Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, risk of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening about inland areas. East to northeasterly winds becoming breezy in the afternoon especially near the coast.
Highs: 20-23

West Coast
Mostly sunny with light winds in the morning then afternoon west to southwest winds.
Highs: 20-26

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, risk of a late afternoon / evening isolated shower inland otherwise mainly dry. Light winds mostly, northeasterlies about coastal Otago pick up.
Highs: 21-28
